The Central Area is pleased to welcome all educational office professionals from our area into our group. We meet twice each year—once at our NAEOP Annual Meeting and once at our annual Central Area Professional Development Day. Our group has been busy developing a scholarship which will be offered to members or member dependants from our area. We anticipate offering this scholarship for the first time in 2011. We will be hosting the 2010 Annual Conference and Institute in Kansas City, Missouri, in July of 2010.

Our 2010 Central Area Professional Development Day will be held April 23-24 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our keynote speaker will be Michelle Roggash, founder of Beacon Training Group with topics including communication, team building, public speaking, effective business meetings, and business ethics.

Affiliation packets have been mailed to all affiliates from the national office. Our affiliation year is from August 1 – July 31 and early affiliation affords each organization maximum opportunities!

Recruitment is very important in our organization and we encourage our members to bring new members into our organization. NAEOP’s Membership Chairman, Allie Matthews, will be presenting a very special award to our top member recruiter.
