"Learn, Inspire, Lead"

NAEOP 2016 theme

Greetings! Thank you for visiting the Southwest Area web page. If you have not recently visited the NAEOP web site, or if you are new to the organization, I encourage you to peruse the entire web site when you have time. You will find information about opportunities for professional and personal growth for educational office professionals.

Invitation! President Wendy Heslink introduced her theme of “Learn, Inspire, Lead” during the installation of the 2016-2017 officers. I would like to encourage each of you who visit this site, member and guest, to begin your journey and learn, inspire and grow with your local and state associations. You all have talents that you can share. We need to continue to be “life-long learners,” in our professions and in our personal lives. What better way to learn than from each other.

Membership! When you join NAEOP, you have joined an elite group of educational office professionals that are constantly striving to improve their skills and expand their horizons. Vice President, Susan Belliston’s, CEOE, membership recruitment theme is the same as President Heslink’s, “Learn, Inspire, Grow” The NAEOP Board thought that by using the same theme, it would bring continuity to our association. I encourage you to recruit at least one new member this next year. As a NAEOP member, living and working in the states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, or Utah, you automatically become a member of the Southwest Area when you become a member of NAEOP.

Benefits! One important benefit of membership is interacting with others within your profession as we embrace and respond to our ever changing workplace. We accomplish this by developing new and better ways to work and grow within our professions. Be sure to explore the full list of benefits available to all members on the Membership page. The Southwest Area will have bi-monthly emails that will also be posted here on the Southwest Area page. I encourage you to send me articles of interest or news of happenings in your local and state associations. My goal is to pull the Southwest Area together and increase our communication with one another.

Questions? I would love to hear from you if you have any questions or would like more information about NAEOP or the Southwest Area. Please feel free to contact me at any of the numbers or address listed below.
