Education Partners’ Council
2016-2017
NAEOP 2016 theme

Welcome to the Education Partners’ Council page. I invite you to become a member of the National Association of Educational Office Professionals. Once you join/renew your NAEOP membership you automatically become a member of this council.

Who are the members of the Education Partners’ Council?

Anyone that is actively employed in a State Department of Education, a school boards’ association, any service unit that serves a number of school districts in a specified area within a state, or similar office that is not a K-12 school, district office or higher education institution. There are many of us who serve students indirectly through these types of organizations. We have unique needs and networking opportunities that will be served through the Education Partners’ Council of NAEOP.

As a NAEOP Education Partners’ Council member, you will receive:

• All the benefits of NAEOP membership (see Membership page) which includes professional growth opportunities during the annual NAEOP conference (institute and briefing sessions), institutes, and webinars (see Events page, webinar series). • A specific council meeting at the annual NAEOP conference where members network, exchange ideas, and share common concerns and/or goals. • Regular communication tailored for Education Partners’ Council members. • An opportunity to join social media sites for NAEOP – search for the keyword “NAEOP” in Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

President Wendy Heslink’s theme, “Learn, Inspire, Lead” reminds us that as office professionals we have a commitment to be lifelong learners, to take advantage of the many opportunities through our associations, to inspire those around us, and to lead by example. It only takes one person to make a change in the world and you can be that one!
