Bio: I started my career as an office professional in 1992 with Lincoln Public Schools in Nebraska after 15 years in retail. Working first in the Purchasing department and then in Human Resources I have been fortunate to work under three fabulous administrators. I joined my local association in 1994 and was encouraged to seek my PSP certification and join state and national. I served on numerous committees at all three level and held every office at all three levels. The only exception to that is I never held the office of secretary/treasurer....and that was best for everyone! I was fortunate to work for an administrator who supported professional growth for all employees and she encouraged active participation at the local, state and national level. The ultimate achievement of my career and most undoubtedly the highest honor for me was serving at National President of NAEOP in 2017-2018. I have grown as an office professional and an individual thanks to each association and the many friends I have made in the last 30 years. I challenge you to become the difference in your association ~ you’ll never regret it.
