Dear NAEOP members,

As we embrace the beauty of October, we also hold in our hearts those affected by the recent storms. Our thoughts and prayers are with all individuals and communities facing challenges during this difficult time.

Let us stand together in support, offering assistance and compassion to those in need. Your dedication and resilience as educational support professionals play a crucial role in fostering hope and stability in our schools and communities. 

Reminder that our conference fundraiser is underway! This helps support professional development opportunities for our members. We encourage everyone to participate. Your NAEOP Board of Directors will be in Charleston, South Carolina November 2-3, 2024, for our midyear board meeting. We are busy working on plans for our annual conference in July and other NAEOP professional development opportunities. Mark your calendars and plan to attend our conference on July 13-16, 2025 in Charleston.

Dear NAEOP Members,

As we step into the new school year, I wanted to take a moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude and warmest wishes to each of you. Your unwavering dedication, passion, and contributions to our association and the field of education are wonderful. 

Looking ahead, I am excited about the opportunities that 2024 holds for us. We have ambitious goals and exciting initiatives planned that I am confident will continue to help us grow both personally and professionally. Your participation will be key to our continued success, and I am eager to work alongside you in the coming year.

  • NAEOP Special Election information will be sent from the National Office tomorrow morning. Past President Teresa Himmelberger has worked hard with the west areas to find members to run for the Southwest and Northwest Area Directors. We are holding a special election to fill these vacant positions.

  • NAEOP Conference fundraising opportunities will be sent out on Friday, August 23rd. You can get a jump on some early holiday shopping while supporting our association’s fundraising. 

May this new year bring you personal fulfillment, professional growth, and renewed energy to pursue your passions. Here’s to a year of continued collaboration, innovation, and achievement while we achieve and aspire with NAEOP.

Dear NAEOP members,

I hope this message finds you well and settling into the new school year. As we move into September, I wanted to share some exciting updates and upcoming events with you.

  1. Congratulations to Kelly Oveson and Jason Wynia on the election of the Southwest and Northwest Area Directors. We are so excited to welcome them to the NAEOP Board of Directors.

  3. Virtual Professional Development – Finding Balance in Times of Stress will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Please sign up on the link found under events on the NAEOP website.

  4. The NAEOP Board of Directors will be meeting the first weekend of November for our mid-year board meeting in Charleston, South Carolina.
